Being an employer is full of legal liabilities.

Since Real Time Information (RTI) was introduced, the only item that needs to be sent to HMRC at the year end is an RTI payroll submission with the End of Year signal set..

Employers are required to send or give to their employees in their employ at 5th April each year, a form P60. This form will show the pay, tax National Insurance, and student loan amounts for the year just finished. These have to be issued by 31st May each year.
